Assistant Manager
Summary
Total Sports Experience seeks a qualified candidate for an Assistant Manager position. This is a full-time 40-hour per week position with benefits. Hours will vary according to programming needs and will include weekdays, weeknights, and weekends.
Duties
- Employee supervision and management
- Supervise recreation programs and sports leagues
- Coordinate team effort in carrying out operating principles
- Customer service
- Assist with daily management of facilities including set up and maintenance of facilities
- Assist in risk management procedures
- Responsible for the planning and implementation of programming and special events
- Assist in developing short and long range plans, including promotional activities for recreation programs and events
Education and Experience
- Two-year or four-year degree in Recreation, Sport Management, Athletic Administration or a related field preferred
- Prior facility and program management experience preferred
- Experience managing staff
- Experience in customer service
Benefits
Salary range $21.00-$24.00 per hour – commensurate with experience. Health insurance, dental insurance, employee 401K plans available.
